The Songs belong to the Chinese People . CD: Nanni Bay

Did you interested in Chinese traditional folk songs? If, yes .I’d like to recommend a CD- Nanni Bay .Nanni Bay is a well-known place in China.

The feature of Nanni Bay is a collection of sixteen classic Chinese traditional folk songs from 30’s to 80’s.It was published in 1990 by HUGO productions Ltd.The 12 -page CD booklet contains a sheet of music containing all the songs with lyrics. In additional, the CD’s cover is a beautiful Chinese traditional painting.

In this CD you will hear “nanni bay, the half ascending, the small murmuring river”songs, etc, which were sung by Chinese famous singers like Lanyin Guo and Songhuo Hu. Traditional folk songs tell us about new life, good times, and beautiful hometown and so on and use traditional musical instruments such as erhu, flute, and drum. This presents amazing Chinese traditional music recorded with new techniques.

I was so excited when I got this CD, as it really stirs people's memories of the past. These songs also remind me of my schooldays. and these songs have become the historical witness.

This is an excellent CD for lovers of the classical Chinese folk songs. I suggest if you interested in the Chinese songs should add this CD to your collection.

Do you have a plan to visit China? China is a big beautiful country; there are a lot of places to visit. I’d like to recommend my hometown -Guang Zhou, you must to visit. Guang Zhou is located in the south of china, which is also called “flower city”.   Because of its long summer. The city is green with plants and blooming with fresh flowers all year round, which makes Guangzhou an ideal destination for traveling. By the way, it‘s easy to get there because there are direct flights from Auckland to Guangzhou.

Guangzhou is an ancient city with a history of 2,800 years. there are a large number of cultural relics, for example ,the” Zhenhai Building” ,which with a history of more than 600 years, The Mausoleum for the Nan Yue King, which had been under the earth for over 2000  years.

Guangzhou is also considered as the paradise for gourmands in China. There are many restaurants around the city, you can taste various authentic Guangzhou dishes, like, Kao Ru Zhu (Roast Suckling Pig), Taiye Ji (a Chicken delicacy) ,snacks and drinks such as Yam Cha (Drinking Tea).

There are lots of amazing attractions in this city.”Canton tower is the world’s tallest TV tower which is 600m high. When you stand on the 450 m   the sightseeing platform   you will   view the whole city. If you want to have a relaxing nighttime, the cruise on the Pearl River is best choice.

Guangzhou provides a range of accommodation options to suit every tourist's preference. Including luxury hotels, middle-and-lower youth hostels and guesthouses. In the same part of city the luxury hotel‘s price is nearly 1000 Yuan per day, equivalent 200 NZ dollar and the guesthouse is cheap, just 20 NZ dollar per day.
